Thanks, but will there be any charges against me for not filing the taxes before.
WIll it effect my immigration status.
What I heard from others is:
1.If we owe money to State/Fed then it may be a problem
2.No problem if we are supposed to get money from State/Fed

@sduddukuri - Can you share why H4 was denied in the first place? I am in a similar situation and wondering if MTR or Travel abroad would be better.

one more question... if I reenter using my AP then IO always take you to some place/room to verify something or its sometimes/randomly only? I just realize that my connection time while coming back from one airport(POE) to another is just 2 hours.
I can tell you right now that 2 hrs is not enough time for your connection flight and it is NOT RANDOM.its for all AP holders

I don't agree with more fees for 485 etc ...
They are already taking too much money out of us ...
Then lets just sit tight and hope everything would be done for us without shelling one extra dollar.
Come on guys, we need to see this from the Govt's point of view too. What's in it for them to even begin considering the plight of us??

I think Air India is the best for elderly people.
I second that. The food is certainly tolerable than the European carriers and the familiar desi faces help the elderly not to hesitate and ask for anything they need.

We got the loan based on H1. Lender did not accept EAD and required GC or H1. Though, there was no issue in getting the best rate based on H1 since credit was good and other requirements also satisfied.

Can any body in the forum please confirm that it is possble to get a F1 in a part-time program. I plan to soon start a masters part-time program with an accredited university.
In the middle of the program, is it possible for me to move from H1 to F1 if I can prove that I will take a full course load ( 12 credits or whatever be the requirement)..The university does alow me to increase course work as per my desire..
Has any one gone thru this process or know for sure that it can be done...

It looks like Mr.Obama is Changing the wrong thing, Immigration policy badly needs an update, he needs to fix that first, cool aid wont help.If the roof is broken you need to fix roof, that should be the priority, instead painting neighbours door and putting christmas lights in summer will not fix the problem. I have a follow-up question. If I do not get my EAD before my current one expires, am i out of status? I have a LIN number for the renewal submission.
As long as You have Applied in Time You are not Out of status. If you have crossed 90 days , you can go to local immigration office and request for the temporary permit.
I submitted renewal on July 12, and I received an email on saturday for Card Production ordered and I did not receive any FP notice for renewal.

see people dont understand why we say dont call, may be i got my reciepts because i didn't called them. and now they are making fun of me saying am saying all these bcoz i got my reciepts, but thats not true. I can understand the tension but this is not helping you either.
Our checks didn't get cashed , neither we Got Receipt Notice .
The CSR told that we tracked that this is your 2nd call in 10 days - Is the reason of this call same or different. If the reason is same - Pl dont make a 3rd call before 60 days from July 2nd :eek:
